The second killer and who survived Harper’s Island is revealed as the series concludes. Everything is revealed and three last victims are claimed as four survivors escape from the island.
With Madison gone missing, Abby, Henry, Trish, Chloe, Cal, Jimmy, Sully, Shea, Katherine, Danny, Beth and Maggie stay behind to look for her, missing their chance to get off the island. Meanwhile, Sheriff Mills meets an old friend from the past, J.D. escapes from jail, and three more deaths occur.
After Henry, Abby and J.D. try to solve the murders, people lead to think that J.D. is the killer before people are set to leave Harper’s Island, but when the people just finish packing, a horrific mystery will need to be solved, or everyone will be stuck on the island.
As the wedding party embarks on a scavenger hunt, Trish Wellington confronts an old flame, Henry Dunn makes peace with some locals and Abby Mills runs into a friend who is haunted by John Wakefield and the island’s tragic past.
Whap begins with a swanky wedding party aboard a boat. The cast is slowly introduced minus a few key players. We begin to learn that the bride actually really likes the groomsmen because they “love (the groom) as much as (she) does.” Eventually Uncle Marty shows up with a mariachi band, liquor and some hidden items in a bag in tow. This displeases Thomas Wellington to no end and he makes it visibly clear with his fiery gaze. Later on Uncle Marty is seen in the bathroom of the boat loading his gun and sticking it in the back of his pants. Meanwhile Abby Mills arrives via taxi, hesitant to board. A one eyed taxi-driver gives her some advice and she exits the cab to arrive at the boat. Meanwhile, we see a cut scene of the killer’s first victim, cousin Ben, tied to the bottom of the ship where he would ultimately meet his untimely death at the hands of the propeller of the boat as it takes off.
